The ANTALIS INTERIOR DESIGN AWARD, the 1st international competition dedicated to customizable interior design

Not long to go !

In order to push the boundaries of creativity, Antalis, Europe’s leading distributor of paper and visual communication solutions, has launched the Antalis International Design Award competition which opens up multiple possibilities to create unique, personalised spaces. Until December 31st 2017, interior designers, architects, printers, brand owners and students are invited to submit their best designs using at least one product from the Antalis Coala range, its flagship visual communication brand. A panel including major international players from the world of design*, presided by renowned scenographer François Confino, will then decide on the stand-out projects.

 

Creativity at the heart of the Antalis Interior Design Award

« Just print your imagination » is the motto of this competition. A true showcase of self-expression and ingenuity, the Antalis Interior Design Awards intend to bring together different artistic sensibilities from all over Europe and beyond.

o Completed projects

The competition will reward the finest completed projects and projects underway from the reference period of January 1st, 2016 to December 31st, 2017. Professionals (architects, interior designers, printers and brand owners) can compete in one or several of the following categories: Hospitality, Restaurant, Retail, Office, Home and Public premises.

The winners will be announced in March 2018 and receive extensive media coverage in the prestigious press partners of the competition: Wallpaper and Intramuros. They will also benefit from important visibility on social media, Antalis’ website (4 million visitors per year) and on international trade shows attended by Antalis such as Architect@Work , PURE Digital and Retail Expo.

•        o Blank 3D model projects

For professionals and students who don’t have any completed or current project to submit but still want to let their talent shine, Antalis is offering the possibility of using blank 3D models which they can reinvent with solutions from the Coala range.

The winners will also benefit from media exposure and receive €3,500 and €2,000 for first and second prize respectively. Furthermore, they will have the opportunity to bring their ideas to life by re-designing parts of Antalis’ headquarters or one of the Group’s subsidiaries.

•        o The public’s favourite award

A special cross-category award will be attributed to the participant whose project wins the heart of the public and receives the most “likes” on the Antalis Interior Design Award website.

•        o The exclusive BOOK (10,000 copies)

Intended as a reference in interior design, the elegant BOOK will showcase the very best pieces of work and present the portrait of each winner. The BOOK will be distributed to trade media, museums, architecture firms, design agencies and renowned designers.
